About Us
We are a growing dermatology and cosmetic aesthetic practice dedicated to providing exceptional medical and cosmetic skin care in a welcoming, patient-focused environment. Our office specializes in medical dermatology, cosmetic injectables, laser treatments, skincare, and aesthetic procedures.
We are seeking a motivated, polished, and career-oriented Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) who is passionate about both dermatology and aesthetics. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
We are looking for a candidate who is committed to learning and growing with our practice over the next 1–2 years through extensive hands-on training.
Responsibilities
- Assist providers with both medical dermatology and cosmetic procedures
- Prepare patients for exams, treatments, and aesthetic services
- Room patients, obtain medical histories, and document accurately in EMR
- Assist with biopsies, excisions, injections, laser procedures, and cosmetic treatments
- Learn and assist with:
- Reconstitution of neurotoxins
- Drawing and preparation of dermal fillers
- Cosmetic injectable workflow
- Skincare and laser treatments
- Educate patients on treatment plans, skincare products, cosmetic services, and post-care instructions
- Maintain treatment rooms, supplies, and clinical cleanliness standards
- Support patient scheduling, follow-up, and treatment coordination
- Help drive cosmetic sales, skincare recommendations, and patient retention
- Participate in social media and marketing initiatives as needed
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification or LVN license required
- Dermatology, cosmetic, med spa, or plastic surgery experience.
- Strong interest in dermatology and cosmetic aesthetics
- Highly sales-oriented with strong communication skills
- Comfortable discussing skincare, cosmetic procedures, and treatment recommendations
- Professional appearance and polished bedside manner
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
