Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Urgent Care Physician to join our Newport Beach team. This role is ideal for a provider who thrives in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and is committed to delivering exceptional care. You will diagnose and treat a range of non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries, perform minor procedures, and work collaboratively with a talented medical team.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients of all ages presenting with a wide variety of medical conditions.
- Perform minor procedures, including laceration repairs, splinting, and abscess drainage.
- Interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, EKGs, and laboratory results.
- Collaborate with medical assistants, nurses, and administrative staff to provide efficient, quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in our electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and preventive healthcare practices.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine
- Active California Medical License
- Current DEA certification
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine experience is highly desirable

Pay: $115.00 – $140.00 per hour
