Gameday Men’s Health Murrieta is looking for a confident, experienced NP or PA who wants meaningful ownership of the clinical experience inside a growing men’s health clinic.

You will have medical oversight, established clinical resources, training, and an experienced support team. But when the consultation begins, you own the room.

You need the clinical judgment to know when treatment is appropriate, the communication skills to make a guarded man tell you what is really happening, and the leadership presence to keep the clinical day moving.

We are not looking for someone who simply wants to prescribe testosterone.

We are looking for someone who wants to practice medicine, lead people, and help men make confident decisions about their health.

Who We Are

Gameday Men’s Health Murrieta is an independently family-owned and operated, cash-pay men’s health clinic.

We focus on:

• Testosterone replacement and hormone optimization
• Medical weight management
• Sexual health
• Metabolic health
• Recovery and performance medicine
• Peptide therapy when clinically appropriate and legally available

Our patients are adult men across a wide age range, with most between 35 and 55.

They are firefighters coming off a 48-hour shift. Veterans who want a plan, not another pamphlet. Blue-collar dads who waited two years to come in because their wife finally pushed them. Business owners running on fumes and calling it normal.

More than 100 first responders have trusted our clinic with their care.

Many of our patients have been told their labs are “within range” while their energy, body composition, sleep, libido, focus, and quality of life continue to decline.

Your job is to determine what is actually happening, explain it without hiding behind medical language, and build a plan the patient understands and can realistically follow.

Sometimes that plan includes treatment.

Sometimes it means additional testing, lifestyle changes, referral, or telling a man that TRT is not medically appropriate for him.

Clinical integrity comes first. Always.

This Role Is Different

This is not insurance medicine.

There are no prior authorizations, no overloaded waiting room created by an insurance contract, and no billing department deciding which treatment your patient is allowed to discuss.

You have the time and clinical involvement to investigate symptoms properly, educate the patient, and make thoughtful decisions.

That autonomy comes with accountability.

You are responsible for the quality of the consultation, the clarity of the recommendation, the patient’s understanding, timely documentation, clinical follow-through, and the experience you and the team create together.

You are also expected to lead the conversation when a patient hesitates.

That does not mean pushing medically inappropriate treatment or turning a consultation into a sales pitch.

It means identifying what is actually stopping him, answering the real concern, explaining the consequences of continued inaction, making a confident recommendation, and asking him to make a decision.

A man should not leave because he was confused, overwhelmed, afraid to ask about cost, or handed a vague plan and told to “think about it.”

You May Be the Right Fit If

• You can interpret a laboratory panel as a connected clinical story, not a collection of green and red numbers.
• You investigate symptoms instead of automatically attributing everything to testosterone.
• You can ask a man about erections, alcohol use, stress, sleep, relationships, mental health, and adherence without making the conversation awkward.
• You know how to earn trust from men who do not hand it out easily.
• You can explain complicated physiology in language a patient will understand and remember.
• You make clear recommendations instead of presenting five options and hiding behind “whatever you want to do.”
• You are comfortable discussing treatment costs without apologizing, pressuring, or becoming evasive.
• You can distinguish a legitimate clinical concern from fear, uncertainty, or avoidance.
• You know how to educate, challenge, guide, and ask for a decision without becoming aggressive.
• You believe medication can support behavior, but should not replace it.
• You are willing to tell a patient “no” when treatment is not appropriate.
• You can remain comprehensive without allowing every consultation to become unnecessarily long.
• You recognize when a patient genuinely needs more time and when the conversation has simply lost direction.
• You adapt the visit to the patient instead of forcing every patient into your preferred pace.
• You want ownership of a clinic experience, not another place to pick up shifts.
• You can lead MAs and front-office staff with clarity, respect, and consistency.
• You welcome being measured on safety, outcomes, patient understanding, follow-through, experience, appropriate conversion, and retention.

This Is Probably Not Your Role If

• You want a rigid protocol that eliminates the need for clinical judgment.
• You believe every symptomatic man needs testosterone.
• You treat the number on the page instead of the patient in front of you.
• You struggle to make decisions without constant reassurance.
• You avoid conversations involving sexual health, adherence, lifestyle, cost, or commitment.
• You believe discussing cost or asking a patient to make a decision is beneath the clinician’s role.
• You provide information but avoid making a clear recommendation.
• You confuse talking longer with providing better care.
• You allow inefficient visits or delayed documentation to disrupt the entire clinic.
• You consider patient education, follow-up, conversion, or retention someone else’s responsibility.
• You prefer to operate separately from the MA and front-office teams.
• You want a quiet place to coast between other jobs.
• You cannot commit to a consistent recurring schedule.
• You are applying to dozens of listings and hoping your resume speaks for you.

What You Will Do

• Conduct comprehensive new-patient consultations, physical examinations, and follow-up visits.
• Obtain detailed histories covering symptoms, medications, lifestyle, sleep, sexual health, mental health, cardiovascular risk, and relevant family history.
• Order and interpret appropriate laboratory testing.
• Build individualized treatment plans using symptoms, laboratory findings, medical history, risk factors, patient goals, and clinical judgment.
• Prescribe and manage appropriate therapies within your licensure, training, clinic protocols, and medical oversight.
• Monitor efficacy, adherence, adverse effects, safety markers, and changing clinical needs.
• Identify contraindications, clinical concerns, and conditions requiring additional evaluation or referral.
• Educate patients until they understand what is being recommended, why it is being recommended, what it costs, and what will be expected from them.
• Address hesitation directly and ethically so appropriate patients can make informed decisions.
• Document clearly, accurately, and on time.
• Manage clinical flow without reducing patients to a production number.
• Lead and support the MA and front-office teams throughout the patient experience.
• Improve clinical systems when you identify a better way to do something.
• Help build a culture of accountability, warmth, accuracy, and exceptional patient care.

• Documentation is completed without the team chasing you.
• Patients stay because they are receiving excellent care and experiencing meaningful progress, not because they were pressured into treatment.
• You bring confidence without ego, authority without arrogance, and personality without losing professionalism.

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Current prescribing authority and the ability to obtain or maintain all credentials required for the position.
• Strong clinical foundation and independent decision-making ability.
• Excellent patient communication and education skills.
• Comfort discussing sexual function, hormone-related symptoms, body composition, lifestyle, mental health, adherence, and treatment cost.
• Strong documentation, follow-through, and time-management habits.
• Ability to work effectively with clinical and nonclinical team members.
• Ability to work on-site in Murrieta.
• Ability to commit to a consistent weekday schedule of 8-16 hours per week.
• Two or more years of direct patient-care experience as an NP or PA is strongly preferred.
• Experience in men’s health, endocrinology, urology, hormone management, obesity medicine, functional or integrative medicine, primary care, emergency medicine, sexual health, or performance-focused care is highly valued.
• Direct men’s health experience is preferred, but we will consider an exceptional clinician with the right foundation, judgment, communication ability, confidence, and commitment to learning.

Clinical oversight and medical direction are provided by our Medical Director.

Treatment decisions remain clinician-directed and must meet applicable standards of care, clinic protocols, and regulatory requirements.
