Job Description: Physician Assistant
We are seeking a highly motivated and patient-focused Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing orthopedic team. Current California PA license is required. Prior experience in orthopedics, knee, joint, and sports medicine is preferred.
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive musculoskeletal care under the supervision of orthopedic surgeons and will play an integral role in the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients with a wide range of orthopedic conditions. This position will focus on knee injuries, joint pain, arthritis, sports-related injuries, ligament and meniscal pathology, and other musculoskeletal conditions in both operative and non-operative settings.

Job Duties
The Physician Assistant’s primary responsibilities under the supervision of the physician include:
- Provide medial treatment in clinic including sport medicine, total knee arthroplasty patients.
- Joint injection/aspiration in clinic
- Assist in surgery including preparing grafts and multilayer closures.
- Providing leadership, direction and coordination of clinical activities involving professional medical judgment
- Must be self-directed, demonstrate strong attention to detail and be willing to work in a fast paced clinic
- Candidate should have the desire to relate to Physicians, Patients, and Coworkers with professionalism by demonstrating excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Experience in orthopaedics and/or worker’s compensation preferred
- Take complex medical histories
- Order lab tests, X-Rays, Imaging Studies, and other diagnostics
- Develop treatment plans with MD’s to provide expedient and optimal medical management
- Post Operative Clinics
- Hospital rounds with some call coverage required per month
- Work closely with our MD’s to provide outstanding service to our patients in all aspects of care
Qualifications
- Current and unrestricted California licensure as a Physician Assistant
- NCCPA certification required
- DEA registration and prescriptive authority required
- Previous orthopedic or surgical experience preferred
- Experience in knee, joint, and sports medicine preferred
- BLS/ACLS certification
- Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and teamwork skills

Compensation Disclaimer
In accordance with California pay transparency guidelines, the posted salary range reflects the anticipated base pay for this position. Final compensation within this range will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant healthcare experience, leadership experience, education, and overall qualifications.
Pay: $110,000.00 – $170,000.00 per year
