Living Water Clinic-Clinica Agua Viva is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with our physicians, delivering comprehensive healthcare services to a diverse patient population. Responsibilities:
* Function as a key member of the healthcare team, providing primary and preventive care to patients of all ages.
* Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, ensuring patient-centered care.
* Conduct comprehensive physical examinations, interpret lab results, and prescribe appropriate treatments.
* Educate patients and families on preventative care, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
* Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to coordinate treatment plans and ensure continuity of care.
* Maintain accurate and timely medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
* Perform minor procedures as appropriate to scope of practice.
* Adhere to Living Water Clinic’s mission and core values, ensuring a compassionate and culturally competent approach to care.
* Stay informed on the latest medical advancements, participating in continuing education and professional development.
Requirements:
Licensure & Certification:
* California RN license current and valid
* California Nurse Practitioner (NP) license and Nurse Practitioner Furnishing Number
* Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration
* Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (required upon hire)
* Nurse Practitioner National Certification
Skills & Competencies:
* Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
* Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities to develop and implement treatment plans.
* Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment.
* Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and care coordination.
