Responsibilities
- Develop and update curriculum focused on sterile processing techniques, surgical instrument reprocessing, and hospital infection control standards.
- Deliver engaging lectures and hands-on laboratory sessions that incorporate medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and laboratory experience.
- Evaluate student performance through assessments, practical demonstrations, and coursework review to ensure mastery of core concepts.
- Utilize learning management systems (LMS) such as Canvas to organize course content, assessments, and student progress tracking.
- Incorporate learning technology tools to enhance instructional delivery.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop new courses or modules aligned with current industry standards and certification requirements.
- Prior supervising experience in sterile processing departments or hospital settings is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in teaching adult learners within higher education or clinical training programs.
- Experience with learning technology platforms such as LMS or Blackboard for curriculum delivery and documentation review.
