Physician Assistant – Pain Management & Aesthetics

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and highly organized Physical Assistant to join our growing healthcare and pain management team. This role is ideal for an individual with strong clinical knowledge, patient-care experience, and the ability to support providers in delivering exceptional care to patients experiencing chronic pain conditions and aesthetic requests.
The Physical Assistant will work closely with physicians, medical staff, and patients in a fast-paced clinical environment, assisting with patient care coordination, treatment support, medical documentation, and daily healthcare operations. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, empathetic, and committed to improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient care and clinical support services
- Support pain management treatment plans and patient follow-up care
- Coordinate appointments, referrals, and patient scheduling
- Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to providers
- Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-care instructions
- Assist with preparing examination and treatment rooms
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and patient confidentiality standards
- Provide compassionate support to patients dealing with chronic pain and mobility limitations
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff
- Evaluate and treat chronic painful conditions under supervision of board certified pain management physician
- Conduct aesthetics consultations and procedures under physician supervision
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor’s degree is required, usually with a focus on science (biology, chemistry).
- Successful completion of and graduation from physician assistant program
- Valid California physician’s assistant license
- Strong understanding of healthcare environments and patient-care protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a clinical setting
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and compassion
- Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems preferredPreferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in pain management, orthopedics, rehabilitation, sports medicine, or primary care
- Knowledge of chronic pain treatment methods and patient support strategies
- Experience assisting with medical procedures or clinical workflows
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
