Gurnick Academy is a leading Bay Area private healthcare college offering an extensive variety of Nursing, Allied healthcare, and Imaging programs.
We are currently seeking an Radiographic Lab Coordinator for our Concord, CA Campus. This is an on-campus position at our Concord Campus.
Salary: $90,000-95,000/year

Basic Function
The primary function of the Radiographic Lab Coordinator is to perform, supervise, and coordinate the RT and XT student laboratory and Medical Assistant class sessions for Gurnick students on campus. This position will host and regularly conduct laboratory sessions as indicated in the curriculum to support students as they transition in their clinical environment. This is done through management and oversight of students during required laboratory sessions including, but not limited to physics, digital imaging, venipuncture, positioning, and patient care as needed by the program curriculum and goals. The Radiographic Lab Coordinator also is involved in mentoring students and proctoring on campus exams as needed. The Radiographic Lab Coordinator will meet with the XT and RT program directors consistently to ensure student success. The Radiographic Lab Coordinator will also oversee all inventory, QC, and upkeep of the RT lab and student RT classroom and supplies. In addition, the Radiographic Lab Coordinator will oversee student management to ensure satisfactory academic progress is being maintained and that student grades, attendance, remediation documentation, and other reprimands are all kept up to date. This position also involves conducting coordinating and collaborating with on campus lab instructors to ensure student success. The Radiographic Lab Coordinator will also conduct clinical site visits for students in XT and RT as requested to promote programmatic needs.
Requirements
- Associate or higher degree is preferred
- A minimum of 2 years of direct full-time experience in radiologic technology
- Current CDPH licensure in good standing within their discipline
- Teaching experience is preferred
- Preferred knowledge of the educational process at other institutions
- Preferred management work experience in a school environment
- Current CCMA or the ability to obtain one within 3 months of hire
