Our Practice is a growing, patient-centered family medicine clinic led by Dr. Behnaz Behmanesh, D.O. We are committed to providing high-quality, personalized care with a focus on preventive medicine and chronic disease management, particularly for adult and Medicare populations.
We are building a practice that prioritizes access, continuity, and strong patient relationships—and are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant to grow with us.
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, clinically strong, and reliable Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our team. The ideal candidate is comfortable managing a broad range of primary care conditions, values patient relationships, and can work both independently and collaboratively.
This role offers the opportunity to be part of a growing practice with increasing patient volume and to play a key role in expanding access to care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients (with option to see pediatrics if desired)
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, hyperlipidemia)
- Perform annual wellness visits, preventive care, and health screenings
- Manage same-day/sick visits
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Educate patients on disease management and preventive care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR
- Collaborate with physician and clinical staff to ensure high-quality care
- Participate in quality improvement and care coordination efforts
Qualifications
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Active California license (or eligibility)
- Experience in family medicine or primary care preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with EMR systems
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with Medicare Advantage patients
- Spanish-speaking is a plus
- Experience with value-based care or chronic care management
