NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

California Institute of Cosmetic & Reconstructive Surgery (CICRS)
$135,000 – $175,000 base | Full-time | Immediate start
CICRS is a three-surgeon plastic surgery practice in Bakersfield adding an NP or PA to our clinical team. We welcome applicants from wound care, general surgery, ENT, hand surgery, dermatology, and plastic surgery backgrounds — if you have surgical exposure or procedural experience, we want to hear from you. This is a surgical-first role with a clear growth pathway into aesthetic injectables and laser — an unusually broad position in a specialty where most jobs force you to pick one lane.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
· Pre-op consultations, H&Ps, and post-op follow-up across a wide cosmetic and reconstructive case mix
· Structured training pathway into independent aesthetic injectables and laser consultations
WHAT YOU BRING
· Active California NP or PA license (or eligible within 60 days) + DEA
· 6 months of formal surgical training OR 1+ year of clinical experience in a relevant surgical specialty (wound care, general surgery, ENT, hand surgery, dermatology, plastic surgery, or similar)
· Interest in aesthetics — injector experience a plus but not required; we train
WHAT WE OFFER
· $135K–$175K base, commensurate with experience and license type
· Medical/dental, occurrence-based malpractice, $4,000/yr CME
· Licensing/DEA/credentialing fees covered
· 15 days PTO + 6 holidays + 3 CME days, 401(k) with match after 90 days
