We are a growing, patient-centered psychiatric clinic, committed to delivering high-quality mental health care with compassion and innovation. Our team is expanding, and we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Psychiatry to join our collaborative care model.
Position Summary:
As a core member of our treatment team, you will provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing care for patients dealing with mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, and treatment-resistant depression.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and medication evaluations
- Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and medical staff
- Provide patient education and support around medication and treatment options
- Monitor patients undergoing esketamine therapy (Spravato)
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation in the EMR system
Qualifications:
- Licensed Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant in California
- CAQ in Psychiatry (required for PAs)
- Experience in outpatient psychiatric settings preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and clinical skills
