Job Overview
Peak Dermatology is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing physician-owned practice in Surprise, Arizona.
The ideal candidate has experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical dermatology conditions, enjoys building long-term relationships with patients, and is committed to providing exceptional, evidence-based care. Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat medical dermatology conditions in patients of all ages.
- Perform comprehensive skin examinations and skin cancer screenings.
- Diagnose and manage acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, rashes, skin infections, and other dermatologic conditions.
- Perform dermatologic procedures including biopsies, cryotherapy, shave removals, and excisions within scope of practice.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients on treatment options and preventive skin care.
- Prescribe medications and biologic therapies as appropriate.
- Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic medical record (EMA/Modernizing Medicine).
- Collaborate closely with the supervising physician and clinical team to deliver outstanding patient care.
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, quality, and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications
Required
- Active Arizona Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license (or ability to obtain)
- National certification
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum of 2 years of dermatology experience
- Experience performing skin biopsies and common dermatologic procedures
- Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team
Preferred
- Experience with biologic therapies
- Surgical dermatology experience
- Cosmetic dermatology experience (Botox, fillers, lasers) is a plus but not required
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary of $90,000–$120,000

Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
