Job Overview

Peak Dermatology is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Dermatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing physician-owned practice in Surprise, Arizona.

The ideal candidate has experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical dermatology conditions, enjoys building long-term relationships with patients, and is committed to providing exceptional, evidence-based care. Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat medical dermatology conditions in patients of all ages.
  • Perform comprehensive skin examinations and skin cancer screenings.
  • Diagnose and manage acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, rashes, skin infections, and other dermatologic conditions.
  • Perform dermatologic procedures including biopsies, cryotherapy, shave removals, and excisions within scope of practice.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and educate patients on treatment options and preventive skin care.
  • Prescribe medications and biologic therapies as appropriate.
  • Accurately document patient encounters in the electronic medical record (EMA/Modernizing Medicine).
  • Collaborate closely with the supervising physician and clinical team to deliver outstanding patient care.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, quality, and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

Required

  • Active Arizona Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license (or ability to obtain)
  • National certification
  • DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
  • Minimum of 2 years of dermatology experience
  • Experience performing skin biopsies and common dermatologic procedures
  • Excellent clinical judgment and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the healthcare team

Preferred

  • Experience with biologic therapies
  • Surgical dermatology experience
  • Cosmetic dermatology experience (Botox, fillers, lasers) is a plus but not required

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual salary of $90,000–$120,000

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday
  • Day shift
  • No weekends

Work Location: In person – Surprise, AZ

Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
