Key responsibilities
‣ Supervise and manage a team of medical assistants, ensuring performance standards, accountability, and professional development
‣ Coordinate and optimize patient flow during monitoring visits, including ultrasounds and blood draws, in collaboration with APPs (advanced practice providers) and medical assistants
‣ Manage and adjust daily clinical schedules to maximize efficiency, minimize patient wait times, and accommodate volume fluctuations
‣ Enhance and enforce compliance with scheduling protocols, clinical workflows, and established procedures
‣ Train, educate, and mentor medical assistants on clinical protocols, best practices, and ongoing skill development
‣ Enhance patient communication between clinical staff and patients, ensuring clear, compassionate, and timely updates throughout the care experience
‣ Oversee all medical assistant duties — vitals, rooming, specimen handling, point-of-care testing, supply management, and equipment maintenance
‣ Serve as the primary escalation point for clinical operations issues, patient concerns, and staff questions during clinic hours
‣ Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nursing staff, and administrative leadership to improve quality of care and clinic performance
‣ Monitor and maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and all applicable clinical regulations
Qualifications
‣ 3–5 years of experience managing medical or clinical teams
‣ Experience in reproductive medicine, fertility, or OB/GYN strongly preferred
‣ Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA) preferred; clinical licensure a plus
‣ Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts, drive accountability, and lead by example
