Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients, focusing on preventive health measures, diagnosis, and treatment of various medical conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient service and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in a dynamic clinical environment.

Duties

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments to determine health status and develop care plans.
• Manage chronic diseases and provide acute care for various medical conditions.
• Utilize EHR systems for accurate documentation and management of patient records.
• Coordinate with specialists for referrals and manage follow-up care, including critical care experience when necessary.
• Provide education on health coaching, nutrition, and preventive measures to promote overall wellness.
• Administer immunizations and perform minor procedures such as suturing and wound care.
• Stay updated with clinical research and advancements in primary care practices.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes in outpatient settings.

Experience
Candidates should possess a strong background in primary care with experience in the following areas considered beneficial:

• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Epic, for effective patient management.
• Proficiency in medical imaging techniques including CT and mammography.
• Experience in various specialties such as cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, dermatology, psychiatry, and pediatrics.
• Knowledge of acute pain management, trauma medicine, and post-operative care protocols.
• Background in telehealth services and outpatient care is preferred.
• Understanding of medical terminology, coding (CPT & ICD), and documentation standards is essential.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $175.00 – $180.00 per hour
