Full Job Description
Pain and Palliative Associates is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide inpatient pain management and palliative care consults in the East Valley. This position covers 7 days on, then 7 days off and is ideal for a motivated provider looking for flexible scheduling with strong earning potential in a high-volume, well-established practice.
This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity with significant earning potential for providers who are motivated and ready to grow. Our practice is already well established within these hospitals, meaning consults are actively in place from day one. As new provider relationships develop and deepen, consult volume continues to expand—more visibility leads to more consults, and more consults mean higher earnings.
Compensation is encounter-based, so income scales directly with the number of patients you choose to see. For providers who are hungry, efficient, and clinically strong, there is truly no ceiling. You have control over your productivity and your income.
Pain management or palliative care board certification is preferred. If not currently certified, the selected provider will be required to obtain pain management or palliative board certification within 12 months of starting. Qualified candidates must be board-certified as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Arizona, hold an active Arizona license and DEA registration, and carry their own malpractice insurance. Shadowing and in-person training provided to support each provider.
Pain and Palliative Associates is a well-established private practice staffed by fellowship-trained physicians and board-certified pain and palliative care providers. Our team works collaboratively in the inpatient setting to deliver high-quality, patient-centered pain and palliative care while supporting hospital partners across the Valley.
