**Schedule:**
12‑hour shifts Mon – Fri and 8-hour shifts Sat – Sun; standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM Mon – Fri and 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Sat – Sun
(this clinic may change hours from 8:00am – 8:00pm Mon – Sun once fully staffed – the schedule would then require 3 x 12-hour shifts per week with rotating weekends and occasional holidays.)
**Compensation:**
$65-$80/hour (based on experience) + monthly productivity bonus + overtime availability in the Fall/Winter

**Key Responsibilities**
* Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
* Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
* Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
* Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable)
* Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
* Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
* Code and bill services appropriately
* Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
* Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values
**Required Qualifications**
* Active, unrestricted Arizona license
* National Board certification or eligibility, as applicable
+ PA: NCCPA certification
+ NP: ANCC or AANP certification (FNP required)
* Active DEA license
* Ability to treat patients of all ages
* Active BLS certification
* EHR proficiency
* Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
* DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees and training paid by NextCare – certification good for 10 years!)
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast‑track experience
* Strong procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care)
* Experience with initial x‑ray interpretation prior to radiology over‑read
