OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings, including nursing homes and hospitals, and possess a strong background in geriatrics. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, as well as proficiency in various medical procedures and documentation.
DutiesAs a Physician Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations.
- Administering medications and managing treatment plans.
- Maintaining accurate patient records using ICD-10 coding.
- Providing care to patients in nursing home settings and ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Managing Durable Medical Equipment (DME) needs for patients.
- Educating patients and their families about health conditions and treatment options.
ExperienceCandidates should possess the following qualifications:
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols and practices.
- Experience working within a hospital or trauma center environment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation is essential.
- A strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care with empathy and professionalism.
