OPEN POSITION:
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Urgent Care
SCHEDULE:
– 4 Days per Week
– 7:00am to 5:00pm
– 1 Weekend Shift per Month
– No Evenings
– No Holidays
– No On-Call
COMPENSATION:
– $130,000 to $180,000 Annual Income
– $52 to $65 per Hour, negotiable depending on experience

LOCATION:
Wickenburg, Arizona
COMPANY PROFILE:
This multi-site healthcare organization has been serving the local community for more than 20 years, providing full scope primary care, urgent care, and specialty services. They currently boast a staff of 15 medical providers, who are supported by dedicated clinical and administrative team members. Being affiliated with a local hospital, they have convenient access to services for laboratory, pharmacy, x-ray, EKG, and more.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This is a standard urgent care role in a rural health environment, seeing patients of all ages.
Providers see a variable number of patients per day, depending on need and season. Providers are supported by dedicated clinical assistants.
All work is within the area of standard urgent care:
– obtaining history of present illness
– performing physical examination
– ordering and interpreting laboratory and radiologic testing
– prescribing medications
Urgent care procedures include, but are not limited to:
– venipuncture
– dressing changes
– wound management
– application of splints
– incision and drainage of simple abscesses
– removal of foreign bodies
The practice uses an EHR.
This position is open to new graduates. All necessary training will be provided.
REQUIREMENTS:
– Arizona NP or PA license
– DEA
– FNP or NCCPA certification
– ability to see patients of all ages
