Job Title: Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) – Outpatient Pain Management

Location: Tucson, ArizonaSchedule: Full-Time | Four 10-Hour Shifts | Weekends OffSetting: Outpatient Specialty Clinic – Interventional Pain ManagementTravel Requirement: NoneSalary Range: $120,000 – $150,000 annually (commensurate with experience; higher rates for seasoned providers)Incentive Plan: Quarterly bonus based on clinical performance

Ideal Candidate:

You’re a reliable, detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who excels in chronic care management and values measurable outcomes. Whether you’re experienced in pain management or exploring the field, you bring excellent clinical reasoning, strong communication skills, and a compassionate approach to care.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Conduct initial consultations, follow-ups, and pre-procedural evaluations
  • Order and interpret lab tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostics
  • Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans
  • Support patients undergoing procedures such as:
  • Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials
  • Epidural Steroid Injections
  • Medial Branch Blocks
  • Kyphoplasty
  • Minuteman Spinal Implants
  • Perform minor in-office procedures when appropriate (e.g., joint or nerve blocks)
  • Monitor medication regimens and manage prescriptions in alignment with PDMP and clinic protocols
  • Provide patient education on pain management goals, therapies, and expectations
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, procedural teams, and ancillary staff
  • Maintain accurate, timely charting using the clinic’s EHR system
  • Participate in a minimal, once-yearly on-call rotation (non-clinic hours only)
  • Discharge patients in accordance with compliance and follow-up policies

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program (U.S.-based, excluding Puerto Rico)
  • Current Arizona license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (or eligibility to obtain)
  • National board certification (NP or PA-C)
  • Active DEA license or willingness to obtain
  • BLS certification
  • Experience in pain management, orthopedics, or internal medicine preferred—but training will be provided for the right candidate

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Base salary of $120,000 – $150,000+, based on experience
