Compensation & Incentives
- Base Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 annually (based on experience)

About the Role
We are currently seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a highly respected interventional pain management clinic in Tucson, Arizona. This position offers a structured Monday–Friday schedule (four 10-hour shifts), no weekend coverage, and the opportunity to play an integral role in improving quality of life for patients managing chronic pain.
You’ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to evidence-based, minimally invasive treatment and patient-centered care.
Ideal Candidate
You are a clinically capable, patient-focused provider with a strong foundation in either pain management, internal medicine, orthopedics, or related specialties. You value collaboration, appreciate procedure-based care, and are dedicated to building therapeutic relationships with patients. New graduates with strong clinical judgment and a demonstrated interest in pain medicine will also be considered.
Primary Duties
- Perform new patient evaluations, follow-ups, and pre-/post-procedure assessments
- Review imaging, labs, and diagnostic results to support care planning
- Partner with supervising physicians to develop personalized treatment strategies
- Assist with procedures including:
- Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials
- Epidural Steroid Injections
- Medial Branch Blocks
- Kyphoplasty
- Minuteman Device Implantation
- Conduct in-scope outpatient procedures independently
- Prescribe and manage medications per clinical protocol and state regulations
- Provide patient education on treatment options, expected outcomes, and home care
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation in the EHR system
- Support discharge coordination and care continuity
- Participate in a limited, shared after-hours call schedule
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited U.S.-based NP or PA program
(Note: Programs located in Puerto Rico are not eligible)
- Active or eligible Arizona licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Board certification (FNP-C, NP-C, or PA-C)
- DEA registration (or willingness to obtain)
- Current BLS certification
- Preferred: 1–2 years of experience in pain management, orthopedics, or internal medicine
- Considered: Motivated new graduates with strong clinical aptitude and interest in interventional pain
