Compensation & Incentives
- Annual Salary: $120,000 – $150,000, based on experience

Opportunity OverviewAn established, patient-centered outpatient pain management clinic in Tucson, Arizona is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its collaborative care team. This role offers a predictable weekday schedule, no weekend shifts, and the opportunity to deliver impactful care focused on interventional procedures and quality-of-life improvement.
Who We’re Looking ForWe are seeking a clinically skilled, communicative, and compassionate advanced practice provider with a commitment to evidence-based treatment. Experience in pain management, orthopedics, or internal medicine is highly valued; however, we are also open to motivated new graduates with a strong interest in interventional care and chronic pain treatment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including new consultations, pre-procedure visits, and follow-up assessments
- Order, review, and interpret diagnostic imaging, labs, and other testing
- Collaborate with supervising physicians to develop individualized treatment plans
- Assist with interventional procedures such as:
- Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials
- Epidural Steroid Injections
- Medial Branch Blocks
- Kyphoplasty
- Minuteman Implants
- Perform minor in-office procedures within scope
- Prescribe and manage medications, including controlled substances, in accordance with clinic protocols and Arizona state law
- Educate patients on procedures, recovery expectations, and long-term management strategies
- Accurately and promptly document patient care in the EHR
- Coordinate follow-up and ensure timely discharge planning
- Participate in a limited annual after-hours call rotation
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited U.S.-based Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
(Note: Programs based in Puerto Rico are not eligible)
- Active or eligible Arizona licensure as an NP or PA
- National board certification (NP-C, FNP-C, or PA-C)
- Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
- Current BLS certification
- Preferred: Experience in interventional pain, orthopedics, or internal medicine
- Considered: Strong new graduates with focused interest in pain management
