Compensation & Incentives

Opportunity OverviewAn established outpatient pain management clinic in Tucson, AZ is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its collaborative care team. This position offers a structured weekday schedule, no weekend shifts, and the chance to practice in a supportive, patient-first environment focused on delivering interventional pain relief and improved quality of life.

Ideal CandidateWe’re looking for a skilled and communicative provider with a strong clinical foundation and a commitment to evidence-based care. Prior experience in pain management, orthopedics, or internal medicine is highly valued, though we also welcome motivated new graduates eager to develop expertise in the pain management field.

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform patient evaluations including new consults, follow-ups, and pre-procedure assessments
  • Order and interpret labs, diagnostic imaging, and other relevant tests
  • Collaborate with physicians to create customized treatment plans
  • Assist with interventional procedures such as:
  • Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials
  • Epidural Steroid Injections
  • Medial Branch Blocks
  • Kyphoplasty
  • Minuteman Implants
  • Conduct minor in-office procedures, as appropriate
  • Prescribe and manage medications, including controlled substances, in alignment with state and clinic protocols
  • Educate patients on procedures, recovery expectations, and long-term care strategies
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation using the clinic’s EHR system
  • Participate in a limited annual after-hours call rotation
  • Coordinate follow-up care and ensure smooth discharge processes

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program based in the U.S. (Note: Programs based in Puerto Rico are not eligible)
  • Active or eligible Arizona NP or PA license
  • National certification (NP-C, FNP-C, or PA-C)
  • DEA license or eligibility to obtain
  • Current BLS certification
  • Preferred: Experience in interventional pain management, orthopedics, or internal medicine
  • Consideration given to strong new graduates with a focused interest in pain care
