Position OverviewAn established and fast-growing outpatient interventional pain clinic in Tucson, AZ is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their collaborative care team. This full-time role features a Monday–Friday schedule (four 10-hour shifts), offering both work-life balance and meaningful patient engagement. You’ll provide hands-on care for patients with chronic pain conditions in a procedure-driven, team-based environment.
Working alongside experienced pain management physicians, you’ll contribute to minimally invasive treatment plans that prioritize function, comfort, and long-term outcomes.
Compensation & Incentive Plan
- Base Salary: $120,000 – $150,000 annually (based on experience)
- Bonuses: Quarterly performance-based incentive plan

Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive new patient consultations and follow-up assessments
- Review imaging, lab work, and medical history to support care planning
- Collaborate closely with physicians to develop individualized treatment approaches
- Assist with and/or perform outpatient procedures, including:
- Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials
- Epidural Steroid Injections
- Medial Branch Blocks
- Kyphoplasty
- Minuteman Device Implantation
- Prescribe and manage medications per protocol and scope of practice
- Provide patient education and set expectations for procedures and recovery
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHR
- Participate in limited after-hours call rotation
Qualifications
Required:
- Graduation from a U.S.-based, accredited NP or PA program (Note: Puerto Rico programs not eligible)
- Active or eligible Arizona license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- National certification (FNP-C, NP-C, or PA-C)
- DEA registration (or willingness to obtain)
- Current BLS certification
Preferred:
- 1–2 years of clinical experience in interventional pain, orthopedics, internal medicine, or a related specialty
- Interest in outpatient procedures and chronic pain treatment
- Proficiency with EMR systems
