Full Job Description

We are seeking a Full-Time licensed Physician Assistant to join our established Rheumatology care center in Surprise, AZ, a suburban city located in the northwest Phoenix Metropolitan area, just 45 minutes from Downtown Phoenix and the Sky Harbor International Airport.

Our care center has 2 Physicians, 2 Advanced Practice Providers, 9 exam rooms, a state-of-the-art Infusion Suite with 6 chairs, labs, ultrasound guided injections, joint and trigger injections, clinical research trails, and a dedicated staff. We specialize in treating general Rheumatology, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Gout, Osteoporosis, Lupus, Sjogren’s Syndrome, Vasculitis, and more.

Responsibilities:

  • Examine patients and their medical records
  • Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests, X-rays etc.)
  • Diagnose and Propose treatments for autoimmune and arthritic diseases
  • Prescribe medications and IV Infusion Treatments
  • Maintain accurate records and schedules
  • Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
  • Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and prevention
  • Oversee patients’ overall health
  • Promote good health practices
  • Advance professional knowledge and conduct research
  • Other duties as assigned by collaborating physician

Requirements:

  • New grads and experienced Physician Assistants in Rheumatology, Orthopedics, Orthopedic Surgery, Internal Medicine are welcome to apply
  • Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English a plus
  • Call rotation every 2 weeks between 4 providers
  • Knowledge of health and patient care regulations
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, and written
  • Strong ethics
  • Team spirit with a positive attitude, patience and cool-headedness
  • Willingness to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience
  • Valid Arizona PA & DEA license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
