Duties:
– Provide primary care services to adult patients- Perform comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses- Prescribe medications and other treatments- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work, medical imaging, and special procedures- Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients- Provide health coaching and education to patients and their families- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care- Utilize electronic health records to document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records
Qualifications:
– Master’s degree in Nursing with a specialization as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for the State of Arizona- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in the respective specialty area (e.g., Family, Adult-Gerontology, Pediatrics)- Strong clinical knowledge and skills in the respective specialty area- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Note: This position is not for a physician in training. Additional qualifications may be required depending on the specific position or specialty area.
