We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients through clinical assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams and patient assessments.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses within the scope of practice.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as labs, X-rays, and EKGs.
- Prescribe medications and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Educate patients on health conditions, preventive care, and prescribed treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, joint injections, etc. (if credentialed).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR).
- Follow all regulatory and quality assurance standards.
- Participate in staff meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing clinical education.
Qualifications:
- Current, unrestricted NP or PA license in [State].
- National certification as an NP (FNP, ANP, etc.) or PA-C.
- Minimum [X] years of clinical experience preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply.
- BLS/ACLS certification (as required by specialty).
- Strong diagnostic, clinical, and communication skills.
- Experience using EMR systems (Athena EMR experience is a plus).
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in primary care, urgent care, internal medicine, or relevant specialty.
- Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
- Familiarity with standard operating procedures, telehealth platforms, and patient education tools.
