Now Hiring: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Orthopedic SpineLocation: Sun City, ArizonaSchedule: Full-Time | Monday through FridaySetting: Outpatient Clinic + Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)Travel Requirements: NoneOn-Call: Minimal; shared within the orthopedic APP team

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $130,000 – $180,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
  • Incentive Plan: Productivity-based bonus structure; total earnings up to $225,000/year

Practice OverviewJoin a high-performing orthopedic spine team located in Sun City, AZ, focused on delivering patient-centered, high-acuity care in both outpatient and surgical settings. This role offers a dynamic blend of clinic-based responsibilities and intraoperative participation, supporting complex spine cases while contributing to long-term recovery and treatment planning. You’ll work in a collaborative environment that emphasizes clinical excellence, autonomy, and multidisciplinary teamwork.

Ideal Candidate ProfileWe’re looking for a confident, adaptable, and detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who thrives in fast-paced orthopedic care. Whether you’re experienced in spine care or a motivated new graduate, you bring strong clinical judgment, procedural interest, and a commitment to quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and formulate spine-specific treatment plans
  • Manage acute and chronic spine disorders in the clinic setting
  • Perform pre-operative evaluations, post-operative follow-ups, and care transitions
  • Support minor procedures, wound care, and injections
  • Triage patient inquiries and respond to emergent concerns as appropriate
  • Assist in surgical procedures and provide intraoperative support when required
  • Participate in team rounding and on-call coverage (minimal)
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, surgical procedures, and recovery expectations
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with regulatory and quality standards
  • Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, OR staff, and care coordinators

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited U.S.-based NP or PA program

(Programs in Puerto Rico are not eligible)

  • Active and unrestricted Arizona license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • DEA certification in good standing
  • NP First Assist training (if applicable), aligned with AORN standards
  • Preferred: Prior experience in orthopedic or spine surgery
