Position OverviewWe are hiring a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join a well-regarded outpatient neurology and sleep medicine clinic in Sun City, AZ. This role is ideal for clinicians seeking a consistent weekday schedule with no evening, weekend, or on-call obligations. You’ll play a key role in diagnosing and managing a range of neurological and sleep-related conditions while working alongside an experienced, multidisciplinary team.

About the RoleThis role is designed for a proactive and detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a genuine interest in neurology or sleep disorders. Experience in either specialty is a plus, though strong candidates from internal medicine or geriatrics backgrounds will be considered, especially if they demonstrate a desire to build their skillset in a supported, learning-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients with neurologic and sleep-related concerns
  • Manage disorders such as migraines, Parkinson’s disease, dementia, epilepsy, MS, and sleep apnea
  • Order and interpret diagnostics such as MRIs, EEGs, EMGs, and sleep studies
  • Create personalized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Prescribe medications in line with current clinical guidelines
  • Educate patients on disease processes, therapies, and lifestyle changes
  • Accurately document clinical interactions in the EMR
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialty providers, and ancillary teams
  • Stay current with advancements in neurology and sleep medicine

Candidate Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a U.S.-based, accredited NP or PA program (Puerto Rico-based programs not eligible)
  • Active or eligible Arizona license
  • National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
  • DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and clinical documentation
  • Strong clinical reasoning and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Background:

  • Experience in neurology, sleep medicine, internal medicine, or geriatrics
  • Familiarity with neurologic or sleep-related diagnostics
  • Commitment to building long-term patient-provider relationships

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $120,000 – $160,000, commensurate with experience
  • Incentives: Productivity or collections-based bonus opportunity
