Position: Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) – Otolaryngology (ENT)Location: Sun City, ArizonaSchedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Standard Clinic HoursPractice Type: Outpatient Otolaryngology Clinic

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $120,000 – $140,000
  • Bonus Opportunity: Available; current advanced practice providers earn between $200,000 – $225,000 annually

Call Responsibilities

Role Overview

The NP/PA will evaluate and manage a range of ENT conditions in an outpatient setting, working both independently and in close coordination with ENT physicians. The patient population is predominantly adult and Medicare-aged, with occasional pediatric cases.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assess and treat conditions affecting the ear, nose, throat, and related systems
  • Perform and assist with in-office ENT procedures, including:
  • Flexible and rigid endoscopy
  • Cerumen (earwax) removal
  • Nasal and sinus debridement
  • Coordinate surgical referrals and specialty consults when needed
  • Document all patient interactions accurately in the EHR (eClinicalWorks preferred)
  • Participate in minimal, triage-only call rotation with physician support
  • Stay current with CME and licensure requirements
  • Collaborate closely with clinic staff and supervising physicians to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of ENT clinical experience
  • Active NP or PA license in Arizona
  • National board certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in ENT oncology (e.g., thyroid, oral cavity malignancies)
  • Pediatric ENT exposure is a plus but not required
  • Experience using eClinicalWorks
  • Able to manage a daily caseload of 15–25 patients
  • Strong procedural skills or enthusiasm for learning procedural care
  • High attention to detail and patient-centered clinical approach
  • Meets all eligibility requirements for malpractice coverage and background screening
