Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Care Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Wound Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to patients with acute and chronic wounds. Duties:- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating wound care treatments for patients- Performing wound assessments and documenting findings- Developing and implementing individualized care plans- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed- Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care- Educating patients and their families on wound care management techniques- Monitoring and documenting patient progress and outcomes- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records
Experience:To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
– Valid nursing license in [Arizona]- Minimum [1] years of experience as a Wound Care Nurse or in a related field- Strong knowledge of wound care principles, techniques, and best practices- Proficiency in medical terminology and documentation- Experience with electronic health record systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks)- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for wound care procedures- Knowledge of infectious disease care protocols and prevention strategies- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including seniors and neonates- Ability to perform physical examinations and assess vital signs accurately
