Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) to join our dynamic endocrinology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in endocrinology, internal medicine, primary care or related fields and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients with endocrine disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures related to endocrine conditions.
- Educate patients and their families about endocrine disorders, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide support and guidance to patients regarding medication management and adherence.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records.
- 18 patient per day workload.
- MUST BE WILLING TO WORK AT BOTH SCOTTSDALE AND CHANDLER CLINIC.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C).
- Valid state licensure to practice as an NP or PA-C in Arizona.
- Prior experience in endocrinology, internal medicine, primary care or a related field preferred
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing patient-centered care and maintaining high professional standards.
