OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing immediate medical care to patients in emergency situations, ensuring high-quality treatment and patient safety. This role requires a strong ability to work in fast-paced environments, make critical decisions, and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Assess and treat patients presenting with acute medical conditions or injuries in the emergency department.
- Perform necessary procedures such as airway management, phlebotomy, and coding for patient records.
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other physicians to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough examinations and diagnostic tests to determine the nature of the patient’s condition.
- Provide urgent care services when necessary, ensuring timely intervention for critical cases.
- Participate in research initiatives related to emergency medicine practices and patient outcomes.
- Stay updated on advancements in emergency medicine, including esthetic laser treatment techniques and senior care protocols.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes within the electronic health systems.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of emergency medicine protocols and procedures.
- Proficiency in airway management techniques and phlebotomy skills.
- Experience in urgent care settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with coding practices for accurate medical recordkeeping.
- Ability to conduct research related to emergency medicine practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to make quick decisions under pressure.

Pay: $135,000.00 – $145,000.00 per year
