This well-established family medicine practice is seeking a full-time, certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or licensed Physician Assistant (PA) to join its team. We have a large patient base and need an additional Advanced Practice Provider to best serve our patient population. An optimal candidate must be willing to work independently in a clinical setting, as the NP/PA will be responsible for the successful management and care coordination of his/her assigned patient population. Experience is preferred but the practice is open to training a new graduate. There is always a physician available for consultation.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and provide exceptional and appropriate care to patients to include evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and education
  • Communicate with nursing staff and collaborating physician / specialists regarding patient care
  • Chart daily visit notes in an electronic medical record in a timely fashion

We offer a FLEXIBLE schedule – the NP/PA will work 3 ½ to 4 days per week (always a half day on Friday).

NO weekends, NO evenings! Limited call on a rare occasion!

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Minimum one-year experience, preferred
  • Current Arizona NP or PA License, required
  • Self-motivated, directed, flexible and a team player
  • Positive attitude and customer service orientation
  • Genuine desire to learn and grow as a provider
