OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our unique healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to a variety of patient types. This role requires a strong understanding of patient assessment, treatment planning, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Duties

• Provide patient centered care in an LGTBQ+ clinic
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to develop effective treatment plans.
• Engage in utilization review/prior authorization processes to ensure appropriate patient care and resource management.
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced care practitioners, and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices

Requirements

• Current Nurse Practitioner license/Physician Assistant License and certification in the state of practice.
• Experience in a outpatient medical office
• LGBTQ+ Patient experience and comfort
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient-centered care.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
