Position Overview
We are seeking experienced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) and Physician Assistants with psychiatric experience to join our growing virtual practice. In this role, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnose mental health disorders, and manage medications for patients in a telehealth setting.
Key Responsibilities
– Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnose mental health conditions
– Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
– Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
– Provide ongoing patient education and support
– Collaborate with behavioral health specialists and other healthcare providers within our integrated care model
– Maintain thorough and timely documentation of patient encounters
– Ensure compliance with state and federal telehealth regulations
Qualifications
– Active Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) license
– Minimum of 2 years of psychiatric experience
– Proficiency in medication management and psychiatric diagnosis
– Experience providing telehealth psychiatric care preferred
– Strong communication and patient engagement skills
– Licensure in multiple states is a plus but not required
