Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in a variety of settings, including inpatient and emergency medicine. This position requires a strong understanding of physiology, infection control, and the ability to perform physical examinations. The Physician Assistant will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Experience in OB/GYN including but not limited to well-women exams, menopausal concerns, birth control consultations, STD checks, and menstrual cycle concerns.
- Should be comfortable performing in-office procedures including but not limited to (IUD, COLPO, EMBX, Nexplanon insert/ removal, etc.) Patient population will include GYN patients as well as returning OB patients
- Performing physical exams and patient observations.
- Recording patients’ medical histories and symptoms.
- Creating patient care plans and contributing to existing ones.
- Ordering, administering, and analyzing diagnostic tests.
- Diagnosing health issues.
- Detecting changes in patients’ health and modifying treatment plans, as needed.
- Consulting with healthcare professionals and families
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field is required.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) is mandatory.
- Previous experience in emergency medicine or inpatient care is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and medical terminology is essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact compassionately with patients.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols and practices is preferred.

Pay: $119,648.00 – $123,525.00 per year
