Who We’re Looking For:
You are a sharp, detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with the ability to think critically and adapt quickly. You’re confident in acute care environments and thrive on managing medically complex patients. Whether you’re an experienced provider or a highly capable new graduate with strong clinical instincts, you bring professionalism, initiative, and strong communication skills.
Position Overview:
This role is focused on the hands-on care of high-acuity patients, including those in post-operative recovery, recently discharged from inpatient care, or managing complex chronic conditions. You’ll work alongside an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, timely, and effective transitions of care and ongoing clinical management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and manage patients with acute and post-surgical conditions
- Conduct detailed physical exams and develop treatment plans
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostics
- Monitor for post-op complications and surgical site issues
- Prescribe and manage medications and therapies under scope of practice
- Provide education to patients and families regarding ongoing care needs
- Collaborate with hospital teams, specialists, and case managers
- Participate in care coordination and discharge planning
- Accurately document clinical encounters in a timely and compliant manner
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a U.S.-based, accredited NP or PA program (not Puerto Rico)
- Active, unrestricted Arizona license (or eligible for licensure)
- National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Preferably 3–4 years of experience in acute or hospital-based care
- Highly motivated new graduates with strong clinical training encouraged to apply
