Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team as an Independent Contractor (1099). In this role, you will provide advanced wound care services to patients in their homes, skilled nursing facilities, and other care settings across Tucson, AZ. You’ll have the opportunity to work independently, collaborate with other healthcare professionals, and utilize cutting-edge wound care technology to improve patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Travel to patient residences and care facilities to deliver advanced wound care services. Conduct thorough assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and perform wound care techniques such as debridements and biologic patch applications. Utilize advanced technology, including Ultramist, to enhance patient care. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system. Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Build trust and compassion with patients and their families. What We’re Looking For: Licensure: Active and valid APRN/Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license. Certification: Board certification required. Travel: Willingness to travel within the Tucson, AZ area and for initial training (out-of-state travel required). Commitment: Passion for providing high-quality wound care services. Experience: All levels of experience welcome, from entry-level to senior providers. DEA License: Not required for this role. Position Details: Role: 1099 Independent Contractor Schedule: Monday–Friday, no night shifts, weekends, or on-call schedules. Patient Load: 30–35 patients per week (7–9 per day). Training: 3 weeks of comprehensive training (virtual and in-person). Compensation:Competitive pay based on experience: $94-$170K per year
