Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team. The practitioner we are seeking will provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management services to assigned patients. Our patient demographic is a fair mix of commercial insured, Medicare, and self-pay. Practitioners must be eligible to credential with each plan type. The daily work activities include direct outpatient care through both in-person and telehealth platforms, completion of psychiatric assessments, determination and assignment of appropriate diagnoses, prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, chart and document patient communication in the electronic health record system (Tebra), and coordination of care duties as needed.
The practitioner shall be a graduate of an accredited school, have an active unencumbered Arizona PA License and DEA License, and reside in Arizona. Should be highly organized, have good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team-based environment, skillfully use the EHR (Tebra) and other technologies for successful in-person and virtual care and timely completion of session documentation.

Qualifications:
– Master’s or Doctoral degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.- Current certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).- Experience in outpatient psychiatry.- Strong clinical skills, with a focus on patient care and management.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work as part of a team and support other healthcare professionals.- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
