Position Overview
An established and growing interventional pain management clinic in Mesa, Arizona is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its team. This full-time, outpatient role focuses on function-based, non-opioid-centered pain care, providing meaningful, long-term outcomes for patients. The position includes periodic support at our Peoria location to help maintain seamless care across sites.

Compensation & Benefits
- Annual Salary: $130,000 – $160,000, depending on experience

Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for a clinically strong and forward-thinking provider with experience or interest in pain medicine, orthopedics, or spine care. You should be detail-oriented, communicative, and committed to collaborative, patient-centered care. A background in interpreting diagnostics and supporting procedural-based care will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct full patient assessments and develop individualized pain management plans
- Assist with and coordinate advanced procedures, including:
- Epidural Steroid Injections
- Medial Branch Blocks (MBB)
- Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
- Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials
- Vertebral Augmentation
- Vertiflex and MILD procedures
- Interpret imaging and lab results to guide treatment planning
- Provide clear and thorough patient education on procedures, outcomes, and expectations
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) system
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and clinical teams at both Mesa and Peoria locations
Qualifications
- Graduation from a U.S.-based, accredited NP or PA program (excludes Puerto Rico-based programs)
- Active, unrestricted license to practice in Arizona as an NP or PA
- DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
- Preferred: 1–2 years of experience in pain management, spine, or orthopedics
- Proficiency in diagnostic interpretation and post-procedural patient care
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of building trust with patients
