Position Overview
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our expanding pain management practice in Mesa, AZ. In this full-time outpatient role, you will have the chance to work closely with patients managing chronic pain, focusing on non-opioid treatments and enhancing your skills in interventional pain management. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will perform image-guided procedures and collaborate with experienced physicians in the field of pain management.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: $130,000 – $160,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a compassionate, driven Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a keen interest or experience in pain management, orthopedics, or spine care. You should possess strong communication skills, the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team, and a commitment to evidence-based practices. This role will allow you to engage in both diagnostic and procedural aspects of pain management, helping patients regain their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive physical exams and document detailed patient histories
- Develop personalized treatment plans focused on pain reduction and functional improvement
- Manage chronic and neuropathic pain conditions with a strong emphasis on non-opioid interventions
- Assist in performing image-guided procedures such as:
- Epidural Steroid Injections
- Medial Branch Blocks (MBB)
- Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
- Vertebral Augmentation
- Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials
- Vertiflex & MILD procedures
- Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests including imaging and lab results
- Educate patients on their conditions, treatment options, and recovery plans
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the EHR system
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and administrative personnel to provide high-quality patient care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program (U.S.-based, excluding Puerto Rico)
- Active, unrestricted NP or PA license in Arizona
- DEA certification (or ability to obtain) for prescribing Schedule II-IV substances
- 1–2+ years of experience in pain management, orthopedics, or spine care preferred
- Strong ability to interpret imaging and diagnostic test results
- Excellent communication and clinical documentation skills
