Position SummaryA forward-thinking, patient-centered interventional pain management practice in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its clinical team. This full-time position offers a structured weekday schedule with no after-hours responsibilities and the opportunity to work within a highly specialized, minimally invasive treatment environment. The role emphasizes procedures and conservative care—not medication-only pain management.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical exams and medical history reviews
- Diagnose and manage chronic and acute pain conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Independently or collaboratively assist in interventional procedures, including:
- Epidural Steroid Injections
- Medial Branch Blocks and Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
- Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials
- Vertebral Augmentation, MILD, and Vertiflex
- Order, interpret, and act on imaging and laboratory results
- Prescribe medications within scope and compliance guidelines
- Accurately document patient encounters in the EMR
- Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, and allied health providers to ensure integrated care
Candidate Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program (U.S.-based only; Puerto Rico programs not eligible)
- Active and unrestricted Arizona license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- DEA license with authority to prescribe Schedule II–IV medications
- Preferred:
- 1–2 years of experience in interventional pain, spine, orthopedics, or a related specialty
- Familiarity with interventional pain procedures and treatment pathways
- Strong clinical judgment, patient communication, and EMR proficiency
