Job Title: Pain Management Nurse Practitioner / Physician AssistantLocation: Mesa, Arizona (with travel to Peoria 2x/month)Schedule: Full-TimeSetting: Outpatient Clinical – Multidisciplinary Pain Management PracticeTravel: Required to Peoria, AZ twice per month

Compensation: $130,000 – $160,000 annuallyBenefits: Comprehensive standard benefits package

Who We’re Looking For

You are a compassionate, experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a strong foundation in chronic pain, orthopedics, or interventional spine care. You bring clinical confidence, strong communication skills, and a patient-centered mindset. Position Summary

As a Pain Management NP or PA, you’ll play a central role in diagnosing and managing patients with complex pain conditions. You will participate in treatment planning, patient education, and procedural care in a high-functioning, collaborative environment. Your expertise will help patients navigate their path to recovery through thoughtful clinical evaluation and evidence-based interventions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough physical exams and gather detailed medical histories
  • Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
  • Diagnose and manage chronic pain conditions through interventional and non-opioid-focused strategies
  • Assist in and perform procedures such as:
  • Epidural Steroid Injections
  • Medial Branch Blocks (MBB)
  • Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
  • Vertebral Augmentation
  • Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials
  • Vertiflex and MILD procedures
  • Order and interpret diagnostic studies (labs, imaging, etc.)
  • Educate patients on treatment expectations and post-procedural care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and support staff

Requirements

  • Completion of a U.S.-based, accredited NP or PA program (excluding Puerto Rico)
  • Active, unrestricted license to practice in Arizona
  • DEA registration with Schedule II–IV authority
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in pain management, spine, or orthopedics preferred
  • Proficiency in interpreting imaging, labs, and clinical data
