Position OverviewA leading orthopedic practice in Mesa, AZ is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its surgical and outpatient care team. This role offers a balance of clinic responsibilities and surgical support in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. You’ll work alongside a dedicated group of surgeons and advanced practice providers focused on delivering high-quality orthopedic care and long-term recovery outcomes.

Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $120,000 – $180,000 annually (commensurate with experience)
- Bonus Opportunity: Productivity-based model with potential total earnings up to $225,000/year

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage orthopedic conditions through physical exams and tailored treatment plans
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including joint injections, wound management, and follow-ups
- Assist with surgical procedures in the ASC as needed
- Round on post-op patients and coordinate hospital discharge as appropriate
- Respond to urgent patient needs and triage incoming concerns
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, procedures, and recovery plans
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Collaborate with physicians, surgical staff, and care coordinators to ensure seamless care delivery
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited U.S.-based Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
(Note: Programs based in Puerto Rico are not eligible)
- Active, unrestricted license to practice in Arizona
- NP First Assist training preferred (per AORN standards, if applicable)
- Orthopedic or surgical experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and attention to detail
