Now Hiring: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Orthopedic Surgery & Outpatient CareLocation: Mesa, ArizonaSchedule: Full-Time | Monday–FridaySetting: Outpatient Clinic and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC)Travel Requirements: NoneOn-Call: Minimal; shared among orthopedic APP team

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $120,000 – $180,000 (commensurate with experience)
  • Bonus Potential: Productivity-based bonus (Estimated Total Earnings up to $225,000/year)

About You

You’re a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant who is energized by the pace and complexity of orthopedic care. You’re equally comfortable in the clinic or operating room, and thrive in team-based environments that value initiative, autonomy, and professional integrity. While orthopedic experience is a plus, we are open to mentoring motivated new graduates who demonstrate the right clinical mindset and eagerness to grow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform physical assessments, develop treatment plans, and manage musculoskeletal conditions
  • Conduct clinic visits including pre- and post-operative care, joint injections, wound care, and follow-ups
  • Triage patient communications and provide timely clinical responses
  • Participate in surgical procedures and provide operating room assistance as needed
  • Round on patients in the hospital and contribute to coordinated transitions of care
  • Respond to urgent patient situations, including performing CPR when necessary
  • Provide patient and caregiver education around diagnoses, treatment, and recovery
  • Maintain thorough and compliant documentation in the EMR
  • Support a collaborative culture across the orthopedic and interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a U.S.-based Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program (excluding Puerto Rico)
  • Active Arizona license as an NP or PA
  • NP First Assist training preferred (if applicable), following AORN standards
  • Orthopedic or surgical experience preferred, but not required
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and attention to detail
