Full Job Description

HeartFit For Duty, LLC is seeking to hire a highly motivated Independent Certified Physician Assistant with at least (3) years of experience to help our grow our practice and join our family at our Mesa Clinic, located at: 1901 E University Dr. Suite #200 Mesa, AZ 85203. *This is a Full-Time position (4) days a week 10 hour shifts.*

*1099 Contractor position or W2 Employee option is available for this position*.

Hours of Business Operations: Mon-Tues & Thurs-Fri 7:00am – 5:00pm (closed on Wednesdays).

We work with a specific group of motivated patients. Our patient population is primarily Law Enforcement Officers, Fire Fighters, Military, EMS, EMT, and their families.

Job Description:

• Prevention focused patient management, emphasizing in preventative care and disease management
• Developing treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases
• Educating and guiding patients on disease prevention and healthy lifestyle habits
• Understanding the changes in health promotion throughout the aging process
• Thorough physical assessment
• Managing workman’s compensation injuries
• Performing diagnostic tests and screening evaluations
• Managing overall patient care regarding lifestyle and development issues
• Prescribing and managing prescriptions
• Provide patients with required paperwork
• Manage and direct patient portal messages and communication
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid Government Driver’s License
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program (required)
• Certified Physician Assistant License (required)
• At least (3) years of recent experience as a Physician Assistant
• At least (3) years of recent experience in Primary Care
• BLS certification (required)
• EKG (experience required)

All drug testing procedures will be conducted in a manner that respects employee privacy and confidentiality.

Pay: $90,000.00 – $130,000.00 per year
