Cardiovascular Medicine and Surgery Practice in the East Valley is seeking an experienced (Cardiovascular) Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Our NP/PA will become an integral part of the growing outpatient clinics and catheter laboratory.
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, this candidate will be involved in clinical management of patients, performance of diagnostic procedures, interpretation of diagnostic tests, assistance with therapeutic procedures, prescription of medications, consultation, and research. This position requires working closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of professional work experience as NP/PA.. We will also look at newly graduated NP/PA’s with prior cardiovascular experience.
Previous professional experience in cardiology, cardiovascular medicine and intervention preferred.
Current Board Certification and Arizona License
Current CPR, BLS, and ACLS.
Our group practice, which is based in the East Valley, provides an opportunity to be engaged in a friendly, state of the art environment, with a small group of cardiovascular specialists, away from complex hospital and large group politics. This position is part-time 2-3 days a week.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $50.00 – $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
