- OF DUTIES: *Our PA-C’s provide health ca
services to patients und
the direction of our clinic’s supervising Physician. PA-C’s are academically and clinically trained to perform many of the routine tasks that Physicians usually do and are responsible for their own actions, as well as accountable to our clinic’s supervising Physician. This position possesses a great deal of flexibility and provides a means to build a viable patient base. * Meets new and existing ambulatory patients in the clinic for examination, diagnosis, and development of patient care plans based on the patient’s medical history. * Administers and orders diagnostic tests such as x-rays, electrocardiograms, and blood work, and interprets test results. * Performs therapeutic procedures such as immunizations, injections, suturing and wound care, and managing infection. * Exercises professional judgment regarding consultation with supervising Physicians concerning appropriate treatment. * Develops and implements patient care plans, instructs and counsels patients, and records progress. * Prescribes medications to the extent allowable by state guidelines and clinic regulations. * Provides general health education regarding matters such as proper diet, family planning, and health maintenance. * Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and regulations. * Enforces all policies, procedures, protocols, directives and goals of the organization. *Required Skills/Abilities:* * Demonstrated competency dealing with all age groups, especially geriatric patients. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Exceptional interpersonal skills. * Superb organizational skills and attention to detail. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to prioritize tasks. *Education and Experience:* * Successful completion of an approved Physician Assistant program. * Current Arizona Physician Assistant license. * _*8,000 hours of clinical practice certified by the Arizona Regulatory Board of Physicians Assistants required.*_ * NCCPA certification required. * A sound understanding of all pertinent federal and state regulations, including HIPAA. * Prescriptive authorization. * Proficiency with medical instruments and equipment required to perform your work. * Proficient in charting and completing tasks in an EMR system. eClinicalWorks experience a plus. _*Benefits:*_ * _Competitive base salary._ * _Potential to earn over $20,000 in bonuses each year under a performance based quarterly bonus structure._ * _6 weeks of PTO, inclusive of vacation, sick time, major holidays, and continuing medical education (CME)._ * _$500 CME stipend._ * _Provided medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401(k) plans._ * _100% paid medical malpractice insurance and DEA renewals._ * _Salary commensurate based on education and PA-C experience, skills, and training._ Job Type: Full-time Pay: $125,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Employee discount * Health insurance * Life insurance * Paid time off * Professional development assistance * Vision insurance Healthcare setting: * Private practice Medical specialties: * Internal Medicine Schedule: * Monday to Friday Experience: * Physician Assistant: 5 years (Required) * 8000 hrs Clinical Practice Certified by AZ Reg Board of PA’s: 5 years (Required) * eClinicalWorks: 1 year (Required) License/Certification: * AZ Physician Assistant License (Required) Work Location: In person
