Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Bilingual (Spanish and English) Physician Assistant to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Physician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch medical care to our patients. This position requires a strong foundation in clinical trials, medical terminology, and acute care, with the ability to work in a Level II Trauma Center. Duties:
– Provide primary and specialty care to patients in an outpatient setting.- Utilize medical terminology to accurately diagnose and treat patients.- Participate in clinical trials and assist in conducting research studies.- Administer tube feeding and ventilate patients as necessary.- Manage airway systems and perform other life-sustaining interventions in accordance with hospital policies and protocols.- Work in a Level II Trauma Center, providing emergency care to patients with acute injuries and illnesses.- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.- Provide hospice palliative care to patients with terminal illnesses, focusing on their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
Experience:
– A Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.- Completion of a Master’s degree program in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.- Current certification as a Physician Assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) or the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA).- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant in a hospital or clinical setting.- Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical trials.- Proven experience in acute care and hospice palliative medicine.- Familiarity with hospital policies and procedures, including airway management and ventilator care.- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $120,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
