Full Job Description

Arizona State Urological Institute (ASUI) is looking for qualified Physician Assistants (PAs) to join their growing team of providers.

ASUI encourages new grads to apply as well. We are willing to train on the job!

Job Type:

Full-Time, about 40 hours (Mon-Fri). Some weeknight and weekend call.

We are hiring to fill multiple positions. Locations vary depending on the position and may include our Chandler office, or Gilbert office and a few local hospitals. This position is in development and could include clinic hours at our Maricopa or San Tan Valley location.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for performing patient evaluations, consults, and review of pretreatment
  • Teaching and recommending therapeutic intervention
  • Performs specialized procedure(s)
  • Counseling patients and their families, as well as collaborating with appropriate physicians to provide other appropriate direct care interventions within the scope of practice for physician’s assistants
  • Primary point of contact and assumes responsibilities for managing the care for patients.
  • Assisting in surgery, depending on qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Advanced Practice Certification, and Prescribing and Dispensing Certificate in Arizona;
  • Graduate of a university program approved by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education (ARCE) for the Physician Assistant with certification by the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), license to practice in Arizona
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must maintain certifications as required by department or division
