We are seeking a highly motivated, compassionate Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our Southwest Gastroenterology team! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Adhere to quality measures
- Maintain accurate records and schedules
- Maintain smooth flow of the clinic
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician and other staff regarding patient care
- Have the willingness gain/reinforce knowledge and clinical experience
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Ability to build rapport with other team members and patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong work ethics
- Valid Physician Assistant/Nurse Practioner license
Experience:
- Gastroenterology/Internal/Family Medicine: Atleast 1 year (Preferred). New graduates are welcome to apply
- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time/Part-time
Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
